Action Power Pavilion

The pavilion was tasked to showcase the expertise of the action stunt and post production services of Hong Kong. A series of television panels was set up to introduce the history of the Hong Kong Stuntman Association and illustrate the development of action stunt and special visual effects through the excerpts of various Hong Kong action films.

The kick-off ceremony of Hong Kong Film New Action 2017 took place on 13 March 2017 at the pavilion and was officiated by Mr. Gregory SO (Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development), Professor CHEUK Pak-tong (Representative of HKFDC), Mr Sammo HUNG (Honourable President of Hong Kong Stuntman Association (HKSA)), Mr Wilson WONG (General Manager of Hong Kong Productivity Council), Professor Adrian WALTER AM (Director of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts) and Mr Percy FUNG (Permanent Honorary President of Association of Motion Picture Post Production Professionals). The Kungfu demonstration of the young martial artists of HKSA brought the event to a climax.
