3D Movie Technology Seminar

Topics of the seminar included creation, production and exhibition of 3D movies, and the recent developments of 3D movie production techniques was introduced. Through sharing of experiences and discussion on the production techniques, the participants were able to acquire a better and deeper understanding of the trend of the local and overseas development of stereoscopic 3D filming. In the seminar, participants were encouraged to exchange views on these technological developments to enrich their knowledge in the field. Several Hong Kong filmmakers who had worked in 3D movie production were invited as guest speakers. Besides, overseas guest speakers who were involved in the production of James Cameron’s blockbuster “Avatar”, also shared their experiences in the seminar. The guest speakers exchanged views on three topics, including “3D Movie Creation”, “3D Movie Production” and “3D Movie Exhibition”.
