Magic Touch of Film Music
The major event of the FDC’s promotional initiative “Hong Kong Film New Action” in 2019 was the “Magic Touch of Film Music” organised by the FDC and CreateHK, and co-organised by Hong Kong Film Composers’ Association (HKFCA).
A pavilion was set up during FILMART to showcase the highlight music pieces of 30 members of HKFCA through an interactive audio-visual system. To promote Hong Kong film music, a promotional brochure including the profiles of 30 members of the newly established HKFCA was also published.
Furthermore, to celebrate the establishment of HKFCA and promote Hong Kong film music, a showcase cum inauguration ceremony with live band performance of different genres of film music was held.
